Jim FitzGerald Memorial Awards

At N SCALE EAST 2014 there will be a special contest honoring Jim FitzGerald with the presenting of the Jim FitzGerald Memorial Awards for N-TRAK Modules:

Gold Award – For the most outstanding N Trak module or group of modules reflecting a common theme conforming to N-Trak standards shall be chosen by a group of judges selected by the N Scale East Contest Chairman. The model receiving the Gold Award shall be considered the Best-of-Show in the judged model contest.
N Scale East Contest Chairman's Award is chosen by the Contest Chairman for an entry depicting exceptional fidelity to the N-Trak Basic Old Four Footer (BOFF) concept demonstrating individual effort and craftsmanship.
National Contest Judges Award – T Trak module chosen by the judging team leaders for a module built by someone 18 years old or younger .

There will also be an N Scale Modeling Contest!

In addition to the Jim FitzGerald Memorial Awards, there will also be awards for scratch built and kit built N scale models in several categories, including steam locomotives, diesel (and other) locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, cabooses (cabeese?), non-revenue rolling stock, traction, structures, and display models.
